Manchester United's Chris Smalling
contract Tuesday that keeps him at the Premier League club until
2019.
Smalling, 25, has nine goals in 147 matches and won two league titles
since joining United from Fulham in 2010.
"Chris has improved and developed immensely during the short time
that I have been at the club and has become an integral part of the
first-team squad," manager Louis van Gaal said on the club's website.
"I am delighted he has signed a new contract."
Smalling has also made 16 appearances for England since 2011.
