Manchester City's David Silva after sustaining a head injury
training Tuesday, two days after being stretchered off the pitch
against West Ham.
Silva was elbowed in the face by Cheikhou Kouyate during City's 2-0
win. He was treated for eight minutes before being carried off with
an oxygen mask.
It was feared the Spaniard suffered a fractured cheekbone, but
hospital tests were negative, the Premier League club said on its
website.
Silva's progress will be monitored and he could feature in Saturday's
match against Aston Villa.
