Tommy Haas on Saturday withdrew from next week's ATP Munich tournament, further delaying his comeback to tennis action from his latest shoulder injury. Haas, 37, has been sidelined for almost a year after right shoulder surgery. He had originally planned to return to the courts last month but put back the comeback several times because he didn't feel fit to play. The same now applied for the Munich tournament, where the 2013 winner was to be a top attraction. "I have a lot of respect for the fans and did my best to be fit for my favourite tournament. Unfortunately it didn't work out despite intense preparations," he said. Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic has taken Haas' place in the main led by top seed Andy Murray. | |||||
